The Subordinate Services Selection Board of Punjab is headquartered in Mohali and conducts state-level recruitment for various departments under the state govt. This year, the board will conduct a selection test for 547 posts of Junior Draftsman in Civil, Mechanical, and Architecture trades. Eligibility for PSSSB Junior Draftsman Recruitment 2021
Education Qualification
Junior Draftsman (Civil)
Candidates should have passed Matriculation exam with Punjabi as one of the main subjects from a recognised Board or University.
2- year ITI Certificate of Draftsman in Civil.
Junior Draftsman (Mechanical)
Applicants must have passed Matriculation (10th) exam with Punjabi as one of the main subjects from a recognised Board/University
Should have 2-year ITI certificate of Draftsman in Mechanical.
Junior Draftsman (Architecture)
The minimum educational qualification for these posts is class 10th exam from a recognized Board/University. Along with a 3-years’ Diploma in Architectural Assistantship from an institute recognized by the State Board of Technical Education.
PSSSB Junior Draftsman Recruitment 2021 Age Limit
Aspirants should be a minimum 18 years of age but should not be older than 37 years on 1st Jan, 2021.
The upper age limit for Candidates belonging to ST/SC/BC categories of the State of Punjab is 42 years.
The upper age limit for State and Central Government employees is 45 years.
For Ex-servicemen from Punjab, the maximum age limit is in accordance with the Punjab Recruitment of Ex-Servicemen Rules, 1982.
This age limit is deducted after subtracting the period of service rendered from his age in the Army that he meets the conditions of the age limit.
The maximum age limit for PWD candidates residing in Punjab is 47 years with a waiver of 10 years.
The maximum age limit for widows, divorcees and other categories of married women as per instructions issued by the Government of Punjab vide Letter No. 1/50/83-5PP(1368)/3454 dated 23.04.1984 will be relaxed up to 40 years.

All the shortlisted applicants will have to appear in a written test/CBT and a trade test to qualify for the posts.
PSSSB Jr Draftsman Salary Details
After appointment, the selected candidates will be awarded fixed salary of Rs. 25,500/- monthly.
