Eligibility Conditions for LIC Career

It’s important for aspirants to confirm about LIC Career to confirm their eligibility criteria before applying online. LIC has set different eligibility criteria for each job profile.

  • Citizenship: An applicant must be a citizen of India.
  • Minimum Education: Minimum education qualification is graduation or equivalent in concerned stream from a recognized university.

Age Limit

Minimum Age shall be 21 years (completed) as on 01.02.2020. Maximum age shall not be more than 30 years (candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.02.1990 and not later than 01.02.1999 both days inclusive).

Age Relaxation: SC/ST-5 years, OBC-3 years, PwD-8 to 13 years.

For SC/ST/ PwD candidates the application charges are Rs. 85/- including  Intimation+ Transaction Charges + GST while for other categories, it’s Rs. 700/.

LIC Salary Scale:

LIC AAO Salary Structure: The basic pay of LIC AAO is Rs. 32,795/- per month in the scale of Rs. 32795-1610(14)-55335-1745(4)-62315. However, it may be up to Rs. 56,000/- per month in case of posting in the Class ‘A’ city.

LIC ADO Salary: The basic pay of LIC ADO is Rs. 21,865/- per month (except for Employee Category candidates) in the scale of Rs. 21865-1340(2)-24545-1580(2)-27705-1610(17)- 55075. However it may change up to Rs 37,345/- per month in case of posting in the Class ‘A’ city.
