About Punjab Police Jail Warder Recruitment 2021 

The state government organization had invited online applications for 847 vacancies of Matron (Female) and Jail Warder (Male) posts. The registration process for the recruitment was carried out in May 2021.

Thousands of applicants have applied for the posts and will attend Punjab Police Jail Warder Exam. The Punjab SSSB has announced the exam dates for various dates which will be held in the last week of August.

• The written exam will be based on 120 objective type questions.
• Each question carries 1 mark each.

Punjab Police Jail Warder Physical Measurement Test (PMT)

Physical Standards Minimum Height

• 5 Feet 7 Inches
• 5 Feet 4-1/2 Inches in the case of Dogras & Gurkhas.
• Chest: 33 Unexpanded 31-1/2 Expanded
• Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without Spectacles) (must not be colour blind)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• For Male Candidates:
• 100 Meters Run: 15 Seconds (Only one Chance)
• Shot Put (7.26 Kg) (16 Pound): 5.50 Meters (Three Chance)
• Rope Climbing: 15 Feet (Three Chance)

• 5 Feet 3 Inches
• Weight: 50 Kg & Above
• Vision: Normal in both eyes (with or without Spectacles) (must not be colour blind)

Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

• For Females Candidates:
• 100 Meters Run: 18.5 Seconds (Only one Chance)
• Shot Put (5.443 Kg) (12 Pound): 4.00 Meters (Three Chance)
• Rope Climbing: 12 Feet (Three Chance)

Instructions for Candidates
