Rajiv Gandhi University is earlier known as Arunachal University. This university has completed its 25 years of existence and it is the premier institution for higher education in the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Rajiv Gandhi University is a Central University that was established in 1984. The foundation stone of the University laid by the then Prime Minister, Late Smt. Indira Gandhi.

Rajiv Gandhi University Common Entrance Test | RGUCET Eligibility Criteria
Eligibility Criteria for Admissions into various courses offered by RGU are given below:
- For RGU UG Courses candidates must have scored 45% – 50% in High school and Intermediate.
- RGU PG Courses candidates must have passed graduation with 45%- 50% marks.
- For BCA 10+2 with Math/Statistics in a compulsory subject for 3 years diploma in Technology or engineering.
- For MA, M.Sc and M.Com Candidates with graduation degrees under 10+2+3 pattern from RGU or UGC recognized university can apply. The candidate must have scored minimum 45% marks in Major/ Honors or 50% as one of the elective subjects or in Pass course in the concerned discipline.
- BCA, MCA or any other bachelor’s degree with Math’s/ Statistics as a compulsory subject at 10+2 level.
- For M. Tech (Electronics & Communication Engineering) B.Tech or Electronics Engineering or IETE or AMIETE graduate or MSc. in Electronics.
- For M.Tech (Computer Science & Engineering) B.E or B.Tech or MCA or M.Sc in Computer Science/IT from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 50% aggregate in any discipline is required for MBA & MSW Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent.
- M.Phil & PhD candidates should hold a master’s degree or equivalent in the concerned subject from a recognized university with minimum 55% marks. Students of final year can also apply for the entrance test. But they are requested to produce their qualifying certificate, before the announcement of the result of the entrance test.

RGUCET Admission Process 2022
The admission process of RGU is in three steps. Candidates who are seeking for admission in Rajiv Gandhi University has to Apply for there particular course online one the official website of the university. Then they have to appear for an entrance Test called RGUCET (Rajiv Gandhi University Common Entrance Test). Candidates must have to qualify this entrances test and then they have to appear for an interview. Selected candidates in interview round can now take admission in the RGU.
RGUCET Application form 2022
RGU Application form will be available from June 2022. RGU Application form will be available in both offline and online mode. Candidates who are seeking admission in RGU can apply online by simply filling out an application form on the official website. Candidates can register and pay fees online through Demand Draft or generated challans.
The candidates will not be eligible for further admission process without registration. All the information provided by the applicant must be valid and correct and any individual information provided by the applicant can lead to the cancellation of RGUCET Admission 2022.
RGUCET Admit Card 2022
Rajiv Gandhi University CET 2022 admit card will be released by the university just a few days before the examination. As per the source, it will be available for download in the 2nd Week of the June 2022 (Tentative). Candidates can download there admit card from the official website of the university by entering their login details.

RGUCET Syllabus 2022
The syllabus for each Post Graduate program will be the pass course syllabus of the corresponding Under Graduate program offered by Rajiv Gandhi University.
For M.Tech. (ECE), the syllabus will be identical to the syllabus for GATE 2018 Electronics and Communications (EC).
For M.Tech (CSE), the syllabus will be identical to the syllabus for GATE 2018 Computer Science & Information Technology (CS).
For M.A (Anthropology/ Mass Communication/B.Ed/MCA/MBA/MSW/Sociology), the syllabus will consist of English language, general awareness, reasoning, data interpretations/numerical ability and analytical skills.
RGUCET Exam Pattern 2022
The question paper will contain 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) of various sections.
- 75 Multiple Choice Questions that examine domain knowledge of a given course.
- 25 Multiple Choice Questions that examine reasoning, language ability, mathematical aptitude/data interpretation, general awareness and analytical skills expected of a University level candidate.
- For interdisciplinary courses, MBA, MCA, M.A (Anthropology / Mass Communication/ Sociology) and MSW, all 100 MCQs will examine reasoning, language ability, mathematical aptitude/data interpretation, general awareness and analytical skills.
- The candidate will have to choose one correct answer Out of four. And for every correct answer, One (1) mark will be awarded.
- Negative Marking is for every wrong answer, 0.25 mark will be deducted.
- The total duration fo the written examination will be of two hours duration.
RGU Seat Availability
Rajiv Gandhi University reserves 5% seats for the wards of Ex-servicemen, 3% for differently-abled, 3% for SC, 9% seats for OBC (Non-creamy layer) and 60% seats for all undergraduate and postgraduate programmes for ST Candidates. Left 20% seats are open for other category candidates.
RGUCET Answer Key 2022
