Punjab Technical University

Punjab Technical University (PTU) is a technical educational institution in Jalandhar in the state of Punjab. It encourages technical, management and pharmaceutical education in the state at degree level and above.

Punjab Technical University was established on 16^th January, 1997 with a vast campus area of 78.16 acres. But later, it was renamed as I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University (IKGPTU) to honor to Late Former Prime Minister of India Sh. Inder Kumar Gujral. The university has a best in class infrastructure with modern technologies.

The university offers B.Tech, B.Pharm., B.Pharm (Lateral), B.Tech.(Lateral), and B.Arch degree course at the UG level and M.Tech, M.Arch., MBA, M.Sc., MCA, MCA (Lateral), and M.A. degree at PG level along with distance learning.
