About the RGUKT University

Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies (RGUKT) founded in April year 2007 by chief minister of Andhra Pradesh. CM of Andhra Pradesh was not satisfied by the opportunity of rural youth he wanted to build another college for rural where they can learn peacefully so, in March 2008, the Andhra Pradesh Govt. build the RGUKT by the Act of the Legislature as the full-fledged University which would admit roughly the top one per cent of rural students into the three residential campuses.

So, the Primary objective in establishing the RGUKT was to provide high-quality educational opportunities for the aimed rural youth of the Andhra Pradesh. And, the initial goal was that at least the top one percent of rural graduates would be given opportunities to study at the RGUKT.
