About the University

The Global Open University (GOU), Nagaland is a State University set up by the Government of Nagaland. It has been built up by an Act of State Legislative Assembly of Nagaland under The Global Open University Act 2006 (Act 3 of 2006) which got the assent of the Governor of Nagaland on 30 August 2006 and was notified with Notification number Law/Act-10/2006 on 18 September 2006.
