According to the directors, the Mumbai Saga Movie is a story of enmity with a gangster and a cop. In the mid-80s, Amartya Rao (John Abraham) lives in Mumbai with his entire family, which includes his father (Rajendra Gupta), wife Seema (Kajal Aggarwal), and brother Arjun. His family sells vegetables on the streets of Mumbai and the local goons harass him because he has to pay hafta ‘(bribe) to the goons of a don named Gaitonde (Amol Gupte).
