Eligibility Criteria as per SBI Clerk Recruitment Notification 2021
Nationality
An applicant must be a citizen of India or must fulfil any of the following criteria for nationality.
- A subject of Nepal/Tibet/Bhutan/Bangladesh is also eligible to apply.
- A Tibetan Refugee who came to settle permanently in India before 1st January 1962.
- A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) migrated from Burma/Pakistan/Sri Lanka/ Vietnam/East African countries of Zaire/Kenya/Tanzania/Uganda/Zambia/ Ethiopia/Malawi to settle permanently in India.
SBI Clerk Educational Qualification
(a). All the aspired job seekers must have obtained a degree course in any stream or equivalent from a recognized Institution or University.
(b). A candidate with integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate must ensure that the date of passing the IDD. Those who are pursuing studies the final year/semester of their Graduation may also apply provisionally provided that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce a proof of having completing the graduation examination without fail.
(c). Matriculate Ex-servicemen, having the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education or corresponding certificate in the Naval or Air Force, after having completed minimum 15 years of service in the Armed Forces of the Union are also eligible to apply.
Computer Literacy: A candidate must have basic knowledge of computer operations and terminology to be eligible for SBI Clerk Recruitment 2021.

SBI Clerk selection process consists of 2 phases (Preliminary and Main Exam). Both of these exams are conducted online, i.e., CBT.
SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination: This examination aims at selecting the top performers based on their scores in each section. They are further called for the Main Exam.
SBI Mains Examination: The qualifiers of SBI Clerk Prelims must qualify for the mains exam scoring above the passing marks in each section of the test. The final selection is confirmed based on the overall cut-off.

- The Preliminary exam will be based on objective type questions.
