UGAT is a National Level Exam which is applicable All India. Candidates who want to take admission in BBA, BCA, Bcom, BHM & Integrated MBA Programme then they can take admission through UGAT. AIMA conducts UGAT. Under AIMA there are top 62 top colleges including Management colleges, Science colleges and Universities, in which you can take admission for BBA, BCA, B.Com, BHM and Integrated MBA Programmes. These top 62 colleges and universities accept UGAT Score Card. Candidates can take admission in those colleges by simply presenting their UGAT Score Card. Those colleges don’t take direct admissions. 

AIMA announced the new date for Under Graduate Aptitude Test (UGAT). In their official notification, the announced to postpone the exam was taken due to guidelines that have been lockdown by the government. The online UGAT 2020 Registration has been extended till 7th June, 2020 and the UGAT 2020 exam has been postponed.

Eligibility for UGAT

Students must ensure that they check AIMA UGAT 2020 eligibility criteria before applying for the entrance exam. If the application submitted by candidates, did not match the eligibility criteria will be rejected by the officials. The eligibility criteria of AIMA UGAT 2020 are as below:

  • Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with at least 50% marks from a recognized board.
  • Those students who are appearing for the 10+2 examination waiting for their result are also eligible to apply
  • Candidates should be at least 17 years of age while appearing for the UGAT exam.

UGAT Mode of Exam:

UGAT exam is conducted both Online and Offline mode. You can opt while filing the form. If you are comfortable with online mode then select online and if you are comfortable with offline mode then select offline mode. UGAT conducts once in a year by AIMA.


AIMA UGAT 2020 Exam Centers

Candidates can apply for this exam who is appearing for 12th because the exam is conducted before the 12th results. Then you can apply for top colleges once the UGAT result is declared.

While filing the form candidate has to choose the top five colleges out of total colleges in which they are interested to take admission. On that basis, candidates will get admission in any of the five colleges. AIMA UGAT 2020 Result

Students can check their AIMA UGAT 2020 Results in the first week of June 2020 through online mode only. Authority will also send the separate copy of scorecard along with the photograph by post to the registered mailing address of the candidates.

Following are the steps to download the AIMA UGAT 2020 Result:

  • Visit the official website of AIMA (All India Management Association). 
  • Click on the “Testing Services” on the AIMA website menu bar.
  • A drop-down list will be opened, click on the AIMA UGAT 2020 Result option.
  • Students will be redirected to another page.
  • Click on the UGAT Result tab.
  • Enter Roll No and Form No.
  • Click on the Submit button.

After clicking on the Submit button, the result will be displayed on the screen. Now, candidates can download the result or even take the printout of the result for future reference.

Tie-breaking criteria

  • Candidates having a higher percentage of marks in qualifying examination will be ranked higher in order of merit
  • If the marks are same, then the candidates obtaining a higher percentage of marks in the exam shall rank higher in order of merit
  • If both the above-mentioned criteria are also same, then the students with senior age shall rank higher in the merit list.

AIMA UGAT 2020 Cut off

After the declaration of the UGAT result, various management institutions, colleges and universities accepting UGAT will release their cut off. Those candidates who have selected more than the cut off marks will be shortlisted for the further selection process. The selection process is comprised of Personal Interview rounds and Group Discussion.

Merit list will be prepared on the basis of the cut off marks. On the basis of their cut off marks, candidates will be ranked in the merit list. Cut off marks is decided on some of the following basis which is as below:

  • Number of candidates appeared in the exam
  • Number of seats for allotment
  • Reservation Norms
  • Last year cut off
  • The difficulty level of the exam.
  • Previous year Admission trend

AIMA UGAT 2020 Counselling

After clearing the UGAT entrance examination, students have to participate in the counselling process organized by various institutions, colleges and universities. Candidates must be physically present at the time of counselling otherwise seats will be allocated to another candidate. Applicants have to bring the following list of documents at the time of counselling for verification.

  1. 10th and 12th Mark-sheet of the qualifying examination
  2. School Leaving/ Transfer Certificate
  3. Migration Certificate
  4. Admit Card of UGAT 2020
  5. Category Certificate (if applicable)
  6. Class X pass certificate for verification of age
  7. Evidence of appearing in qualifying exams, in case the result is awaited.
  8. Caste certificate (if applicable)
  9. Income certificate for SC/ ST/ OBC
  10. Four passport size photos similar to the one uploaded at the time of filling the application form
  11. Self-attested photocopies of all the documents
