Southern Railway Recruitment 2020 Eligibility Criteria

All candidates who are interested in applying for Southern Railway Apprentice Exam 2020 for the various posts have to fulfill some expectation asked by the authority like Educational Qualification, Age Limit, Selection Process etc, are given below.

Educational Qualification

• Applicants should have passed 10^th class exam under 10+2 system or its equivalent with minimum 50% marks in aggregate.
• Applicants must have passed ITI course in relevant trades from a recognized institution approved by NCVT/SCVT
• Candidates should have passed +2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry & Biology) for MLT candidates.

Age Limit

• Minimum Age: 15 years
• Maximum Age for Freshers/ Ex-ITI: 22 years
• Maximum Age for MLT: 24 years

Note:- Age relaxation is given to the applicants according to the rules.

Application Fee

• Gen & OBC – 100/-
• SC/ ST/ PwD/Women candidates – Nil

Selection Process

• Selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of average percentage of marks obtained by the candidates in both Matric (with minimum 50% aggregate marks) and ITI examination giving equal weightage to both.
• For Fresher the average marks obtained by the applicants in SSLC/Matric
