TN TRB 2098 PG Assistant & Computer Instructor Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Knowledge of the regional language is essential for all the posts.

For PG Assistant in Language

Post-Graduation securing at least 50% marks or equivalent from recognized University with B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution.

Or

Post Graduate securing at least 45% marks or equivalent from recognized University with B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education.

Or

  • An applicant must have completed Post Graduation securing at least 50% marks or equivalent from recognized University with B.A.Ed / B.Sc., B.Ed., from any National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.
  • The candidate must also have obtained a degree in the same language.

PG Assistant (Academic subject):

Post Graduate with at least 50% marks (or its equivalent) from recognized University and Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) from National Council for Teacher Education recognized institution.

Or

Aspirants must have completed Post Graduation securing at least 45% marks or equivalent from a recognized University with B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution.

Or

Post Graduate securing a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent from a recognized University with B.A.Ed. / B.Sc., B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution

And

Bachelor’s Degree & Master’s degree in the same Subject.

Physical Director Grade I

Candidates must have finished B.P.Ed. or B.Sc. in Health and Physical Education and Degree in Sports securing a minimum of 55% marks.

Or

Candidates must have secured at least 50% marks in B.P.Ed. degree/ B.P.Ed. (Integrated) 4 years professional degree from an NCTE-recognized University or institution.

Or

B.P.Ed. with a minimum 55% marks or B.P.E of 3 years duration securing a minimum of 50% marks from a institute recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education.

And

M.P.Ed. of at least 2 years duration from any NCTE-recognized institution.

Computer Instructor Grade I:

No persons shall be eligible for appointment to the Computer Instructors Grade-I (Post Graduate cadre) post unless the candidate possesses the following qualifications as per G.O.(Ms) No.26, School Education (SE7-1) Department, Dated 12.02.2019.

Post Graduate securing a minimum 50% marks from a recognized University and B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution.

(Or)

Post Graduate securing a minimum of 45% marks from a recognized University and B.Ed. from NCTE-recognized institution in accordance with the National Council for Teacher Education (Form of application for recognition, the time limit of submission of application, determination of norms and standards for recognition of teacher education  programmes and permission to start new course of training) Regulations, 2002 notified on 13.11.2002 and National Council for  Teacher Education (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulations, 2007 notified on 10.12.2007.

Post Graduate securing at least 50% marks from a recognized University and B.A. Ed./B.Sc. Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.

Master’s Degree in Engineering or Technology in  Computer Science / M.Tech Degree in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology / Software Engineering from a recognised University or equivalent.

And

B.Ed., / B.A. Ed.,/ B.Sc. Ed., by recognised University or equivalent.

Or

Master’s Degree in Computer Applications / Master’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology from any recognised University or equivalent.

And

Age Limit
